I came across this amazing bowl of goodness at a local cafe and just about died. It haunted my thoughts for days and I HAD to re-create it at home. Subbing out the peanut butter for almond butter and adjusting portions I finally got what I was after - the ultimate at-home Elvis Presley Jr Oatmeal! What a hunk of burning bowl of lovin' goodness!
Ingredients
1/2 cup Kodiak Oats
1/2 - 3/4 cup Hot Water
2 TB Almond Butter, creamy
1/2 - 1 Banana
1-2 slices Bacon, cooked
1 TB Organic Maple Syrup
Preparation
Cook bacon.
Boil water or heat in microwave.
Combine oats and hot water.
Microwave for 45 seconds.
Top with almond butter, organic syrup, banana slices and chopped cooked bacon.
